- Heart: Vein inflammation, heart disease, dilatation of blood vessels, fainting, fast heart rate, and chest pain.
- Skin: Photosensitivity reaction, skin cancer, skin discoloration, skin overgrowth, skin ulcer, white patches on the skin, and sweating.
- Eye and ENT: Abnormal vision, eye swelling, taste perversion, tooth decay, dry eyes, ear disorder, nosebleed, and eye pain.
- Respiratory: Difficulty in breathing, lung disorder, and inflammation of the larynx.

For topical use in the form of a 0.03% ointment, apply a thin layer over the affected skin twice daily.

- Caution is advised in patients with heart, kidney, or liver disease, any allergies, those taking other medications, the elderly, children, and during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- There is an increased risk of developing skin cancer; therefore, exposure to sunlight should be avoided.
- Wear protective clothing and use sunscreen with a high sun protection factor (SPF) to prevent sunburn.
- Wearing sunglasses is recommended to avoid eye damage.
- Regular monitoring of blood pressure is essential, as the medication may lead to an increase.
- Patients may experience symptoms such as thirst, excessive hunger, frequent urination, blurred vision, and confusion.
- Avoid vaccination while taking this medication.
