Pain is real so is hope

“Anything that is human is mentionable and anything mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less upsetting and less scary.”
-Fred rogers

One more person lost the battle against mental health and there must be a lot more which are not being reported right now. Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide shows how everyone has an untold story and the person who seems so normal, charming, and positive carries so much of invisible load. It’s high time to acknowledge that depression is real and it is the most painful reality of human existence.

You never know what’s going on with someone. Times are tough but we have to get through. Just be available to your friends and family.

Do not shun away people, if they talk about mental health issues. Mental health is a priority. If you think, you are not the right person, just listen and listen as you mean it. Find someone who can tackle their problems, experts in the respective field but don’t let them feel alone.

Do not believe every “I am okay” you hear. Sometimes, it is good not to be okay and speak up what you are feeling.

Loneliness is a very big factor that leads to depression. No amount of money, success, or fame can bring you peace of mind. Keep checking up on your loved ones. Everyone needs someone.

Do whatever works for you. Mental Illness is not a personal failure; make it your priority. Make your life worth living. Cherish every moment. You can keep up with the failures, anxiousness, and depression as long as you open up to somebody about it.

“So speak up, before you give up.”
