Unoprostone is a prostaglandin analogue used to reduce intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It works by increasing the drainage of fluid from the eye.

Eye: Side effects may include abnormal vision, eyelid disorders, foreign body sensation, and lacrimation disorders. Additionally, inflammation of the eyelid, cataracts, corneal lesions, eye discharge, bleeding, pain, keratitis, irritation, light sensitivity, and vitreous disorders may occur.

Eye drops: Available as a 0.15% solution. Recommended dosage is one drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily.
